November Library News

The library was bustling during the month of October. The month started off with the 2nd annual Small Town Shorts Film Festival at a sold out Aron Theatre. Thank you to everyone who submitted a film and who came out to support the event. Marmora & Lake took home four Scrappy Awards at the event. Pictured below is Fred who won the Jury Scrappy Award for the aged 18 - 64 category.

If you missed the festival, you have a chance to see the films made in Marmora & Lake on November 8 at the library.

October also saw the release of a new podcast episode featuring Marmora & Lake Public Library board member Rachel and our CEO Kathy. We also had a mini episode sharing some book recommendations for Halloween. You can check out the podcast on your favourite podcast player or on our blog here: https://www.marmoralibrary.ca/blog
