Wow! October was a fun filled month at the library. We would like to thank everyone who came out and helped make Small Town Shorts Film Fest a success. There is a lot of talent in this community! Speaking of local talent, the library is hosting an author talk this month with a Marmora & Lake writer who just released her first novel. Saturday Movie

Saturday November 9 at 12:00 pm. Join us for a screening of Brock Kerby & Brian Long’s film 'The Mighty Spits - Allies Above The Cloud'. The documentary shares the story of Floyd "Bud" Loveless's heroism.

Teen/Adult Craft Night

Wednesday Nov 13 at 6:00 pm Join us in creating beautiful small container jars. Space is limited. Email assistlib@marmoralibrary.ca to save a spot.

Alzheimer's Presentation

Friday Nov 15 2:30 pm

The Alzheimer Society will be hosting a Dementia Information presentation on November 15 at the library. Space is limited. To save your spot call 613-472-3122.

Author Reading with Colleen Stewart

Wednesday Nov 20 at 6:00 pm. Join us in welcoming local author Colleen Stewart as she reads from her new mystery novel ‘Crow River Justice’. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Space is limited. Email assistlib@marmoralibrary.ca to save your spot.

Film Afternoon

Friday Nov 22 2:30 pm. Join us for popcorn and a movie! We will be screening the documentary ‘Julia’ about the cooking superstar Julia Child.

Marmora & Lake Small Town Shorts

Saturday Nov 23 2:00 pm. Did you miss the sold out Small Town Shorts Film Festival in October? Join us on Nov. 22 to a screening of all the shorts created by residents of Marmora & Lake. There will even be ‘Scrappy’ award winners in attendance.
