We are excited to announce The Small Town Shorts Film Festival! The public libraries of Trent Hills, Marmora & Lake, Stirling, Madoc, and The Aron Theatre Co-op have teamed up to present a new, truly local, film festival. If you live in one of the communities mentioned, you are invited to submit a new short film that has never been screened or shared on social media before. Submit your film to the festival and have the chance to have your masterpiece screened on the big screen at The Aron Theatre Co-op.

Local Speaker Paul Vella!

June 12 at 5:30 p.m.

Chasing Dreams: The Hollywood Experience Paul Vella will speak about his journey from seeing the movie β€œE.T.” to becoming the head of production for a studio and share anecdotes about working with stars like Ryan Reynolds, Kirstie Alley, Jason Alexander, Ed Asner and Shirley MacLean. He will also explain the various roles in the β€œbiz” including director, producer and executive producer.
